Lexifold Privacy Policy.

NEARER STUDIOS LLC, based in Michigan, USA, provides Lexifold. This policy describes the offline local edition currently prepared for Windows and Android. Privacy and support: nearer.family@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

Lexifold stores scores, recent words, preferences, daily quest records, Blooms, garden progress and other game progress in the app's local storage. Unfinished rounds save their letters, accepted words, remaining time and the actions needed to restore the board and undo history. Pending quest rewards retain the round date, mode and accepted words locally until the reward is saved. Generated result cards and word feedback you save also remain on your device. Lexifold uses this information to run the game, restore progress, show achievements and apply earned rewards.

Device and app-store backup or restore features may copy app data according to your device, platform and account settings. NEARER STUDIOS LLC does not operate those backup systems and cannot use them to view or restore your local Lexifold progress.

No connected services in this edition

This local edition does not create an online player account or transmit gameplay, analytics or crash reports to NEARER STUDIOS LLC. It has no advertising, purchases, subscriptions or cloud progress service. The Android local edition does not request Internet access. We do not sell personal information or use Lexifold play for advertising.

Your operating system, device manufacturer and app store may separately process technical, purchase or diagnostic information under their own settings and privacy policies. Information handled independently by those providers is not sent to NEARER STUDIOS LLC through this edition of Lexifold.

When you share

Sharing a result opens your device's sharing options. The generated card and accompanying text go to the app and people you select. Their privacy practices apply. Copies outside Lexifold cannot be recalled by erasing your game progress.

Retention and your controls

Local game information remains until you erase it, remove the app, or your device or backup settings otherwise change it. Settings > Your data > Erase local progress removes the progress and generated cards managed by this edition. Lexifold asks you to confirm. If deletion cannot finish, the app offers a retry and resumes deletion when it next opens. Separately saved or shared copies and platform-managed backups remain outside this control.

Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send so we can respond. Support email is separate from the game and is not removed by erasing local progress. Avoid sending passwords, payment details, children's personal information or other sensitive information. Contact nearer.family@gmail.com to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you sent to support. We may retain limited correspondence when reasonably necessary for security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution or legal obligations and will explain an applicable exception when responding.

Audience

Lexifold is intended for players aged 13 and older, primarily adult casual word-game players. This edition has no online account, public profile or in-app messaging. If you believe a child provided personal information to us through support or another external channel, contact nearer.family@gmail.com so we can investigate and address it.

Security and disclosures

Local-only design limits the information available to us, but no storage method is completely secure. Protect your device and backups. We may disclose information actually available to us when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or our rights, or address fraud or security issues.

Changes

We will update the effective date and the in-app and public copies when this policy changes. Connected services such as player accounts, advertising, optional analytics, purchases or cloud progress require an updated policy and applicable choices before they are enabled in a public edition.
